AI fight or Short Circuit?

The basement AI is the Work area’s fight-or-avoid boss. Choose direct combat for System Override, or prepare a water-filled transparent cup for Short Circuit.

Release scope: Full release only. The basement AI encounter is not part of the standalone demo.

Choose the outcome

• Fight: enter the ordinary battle for System Override.
• Avoid: carry the filled cup into the core and use it on the lower-left electrical connection before combat for Short Circuit.

Keep a save before the core if you want both achievement outcomes.

Prepare the avoidance item

The transparent cup comes from the office trash near the dice-area entrance. Fill it at the office water dispenser before entering the basement; an empty cup cannot complete the alternative route.

Work-area preparation

The cup also belongs to the productivity and wrench chain. If the office tasks are incomplete, start with the Work area guide rather than searching the basement for a second cup.
