How to get Ending A and Ending B

The Timesville saw pickup and exact branch choice for the first two endings.

Table of contents

Endings A and B branch at the late toilet-person decision. Arrive with both Timesville saws, then choose the one that matches the ending you want.

Before the decision

Collect both items from the black box in the Timesville shed and keep them until the late-game scene. The toy saw and real saw item page covers their pickup and inventory roles.

Choose the ending

  • Use the toy saw for Ending A — Escape.
  • Use the real saw for Ending B — Return.

The selected saw is the branch choice. You do not need to change earlier dialogue choices to swap between these two results.

Why is Ending B also called Family?

Return is the Steam achievement name for Ending B. The in-game result card for the same route reads Ending B: FAMILY? They are two labels for one B outcome, not separate endings or an extra branch.

Before committing

If you want to see both endings without replaying the entire game, keep a save from before the toilet-person interaction if your current build and save setup allow it. Do not use either saw on unrelated objects before reaching the decision.

Ending C uses separate three-world preparation. Open the Ending C requirements instead of changing the saw selected for A or B.
