How to unlock Cut The Act

Bring the scalpel to the Trapezist encounter and use it on the rope supporting her before starting the battle. Cutting that rope takes the avoidance branch and unlocks Cut The Act.

Get the required item

Solve the Whack-a-Clown film-and-color puzzle to open the route to the scalpel. Keep the scalpel in your inventory until you reach the Trapezist.

Take the avoidance branch

1. Reach the Trapezist stage with the scalpel.
2. Before entering the direct fight, select the scalpel.
3. Use it on the rope supporting the Trapezist.
4. Let the resulting scene finish.

The achievement condition is avoiding the Trapezist battle, so starting and winning the fight is the separate branch and does not satisfy Cut The Act.

Completion check

The task is complete when the support rope is cut, the battle is skipped, and the Cut The Act achievement appears.

This route applies to the paid full release.
