How to unlock Case Closed

Case Closed is the non-combat outcome for the Chameleon encounter in Timesville. The required name comes from the cemetery, so check it before entering the film-set conversation.

Dialogue route

1. In the cemetery, inspect the gravestone the Chameleon used during the Ratthew hide-and-seek sequence.
2. Copy the name exactly as it appears in your game.
3. At the Chameleon film set, first ask Who are you?
4. When the conversation asks for a name, enter the gravestone name.
5. When asked about the film, choose Irony.

The common current spelling of the gravestone answer is Ozzie. Some reports show Ollie, so the text displayed in your own cemetery scene is the safer answer. FIN is not the name answer.

The route succeeds when the Chameleon releases you without starting the normal fight and the Case Closed achievement appears.

If the conversation fails

• Return to the cemetery and check the lettering instead of guessing.
• Preserve the capitalization and spelling shown in your game.
• Make sure you asked the identity question before entering the name.
• Use Irony for the film response.
