Chameleon fight or Case Closed?

The Chameleon is Timesville’s fight-or-avoid boss. The complete alternative route depends on a local identity clue and a film answer, so prepare both before the conversation.

Release scope: Full release only. The Chameleon encounter is not part of the standalone demo.

Avoid the fight: Case Closed

1. Visit the cemetery and read the gravestone name shown in your game.
2. Reach the Chameleon encounter.
3. Ask who the Chameleon is.
4. Enter the cemetery name exactly as it appears in your scene.
5. Choose Irony for the film response.

This resolves the avoidance outcome tied to Case Closed.

Player reports have used more than one spelling for the cemetery name. The scene in your current game is the safest source, so do not replace it with a memorized spelling.

Ordinary fight

Entering combat is a separate outcome. This page does not invent a phase-by- phase Chameleon strategy where the full ordinary fight has not been closed. Prepare a save before the choice if you want to test both paths.
