Who is the Chameleon?

The Chameleon is the boss associated with Timesville. The important player-facing choice is whether to enter the ordinary battle or complete the identity-and-film dialogue that resolves the encounter without fighting.

Release scope: Full release only. The Chameleon encounter is not part of the standalone demo.

The Case Closed route

Prepare two pieces of information before the encounter:

1. read the name shown on the cemetery gravestone in your current game; and
2. remember Irony as the film response.

During the Chameleon conversation, ask who the Chameleon is, answer with the name from your own cemetery scene, and choose Irony when the film question appears.

The gravestone spelling has been inconsistent in player reports, so copying the text displayed in your game is safer than memorizing an outside spelling.
