Endacopia save file location and backup

On Windows, Endacopia's local save files are in:

%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Endacopia\

Copy the entire Endacopia folder after saving, closing the game, and waiting for Steam Cloud to finish syncing. Do not move or edit individual save files.

Make a clean backup before an ending or branch

1. Use the roaming red Floppy disk character to save normally.
2. Exit Endacopia completely.
3. In Steam, wait until the game's Cloud status is up to date.
4. Press Windows + R, paste %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Endacopia\, and press Enter.
5. Go up one level and copy the whole Endacopia folder.
6. Paste the copy into a separate backup location that the game does not use.
7. Give the copied folder a date and purpose, such as Endacopia backup - before Ending B - 2026-08-04.

Copy rather than cut. Keeping the live folder in place avoids turning a backup task into an accidental move or rename.

Check the copy

Open the copied folder and confirm that it contains files ending in .agssave. The number of files can vary with your progress, so verify the file extension rather than expecting one fixed count.

Steam Cloud synchronizes the game's active save; it is not a separate dated backup. Let the sync finish before copying so the local folder and Steam do not start from visibly different progress states.

Backup only—no rollback steps

This page stops after creating and checking a separate copy. It does not tell you to overwrite the active folder, resolve a Steam Cloud conflict, edit an .agssave file, or import someone else's save. Those actions can replace newer progress and need a separately tested recovery procedure.
