How to unlock Short Circuit

Short Circuit avoids the basement AI battle. The only required item is the transparent cup filled with water, but you must prepare it before entering the AI core.

Prepare the cup

1. Pick up the transparent cup from the office trash near the entrance to the dice area.
2. Turn on the office water dispenser with Mellow's hand.
3. Select the cup and use it on the running dispenser.
4. Keep the filled cup in your inventory until the basement sequence.

Use it before the fight

1. Continue to the AI core and finish the conversation with the PC box just before the battle.
2. Before engaging the AI, move toward the lower-left side of the room.
3. Select the filled water cup.
4. Use it on the electrical outlet or plug.

The short circuit ends the encounter without the normal fight and unlocks the achievement.

If it does not work

• An empty cup is not enough; fill it at the office dispenser first.
• Target the lower-left electrical connection, not the AI itself.
• Use the cup after the PC-box conversation but before committing to the battle.
