Whack-a-Clown puzzle solution

Knock out the purple, pink, red, and yellow clowns. Leave the blue, orange, teal, and green clowns standing.

Exact board positions

• Back or top row: knock out the two middle clowns, purple and pink. Leave blue on the far left and teal on the far right.
• Front or bottom row: knock out red on the far left and yellow in the third position. Leave orange in the second position and green on the far right.

Hit each target until its gravestone appears. The gravestone is the reliable confirmation; stop hitting that position once it is visible. The solved board has four gravestones and four standing clowns.

How the theater clue works

The four films in the projector tent show which colored theater seats belong to the clowns that do not survive. Those seat colors are the four clowns to knock out on the board.

You do not need to eliminate every clown. Doing that destroys the distinction encoded by the films.

What the puzzle unlocks

A correct board completes this clue chain and awards the scalpel. Keep the scalpel: it is used for the Misery Town operation route and for the Cut The Act achievement branch.
