How to use the transparent cup

The transparent cup is found during the Work productivity chain. It can carry water for the office plant and can also change the outcome of the basement AI encounter.

Release scope: Full release only. The transparent cup is not part of the standalone demo.

Find the cup

Progress the office worker tasks until the productivity route sends you toward the trash beside the dice-area entrance. Recover the transparent cup there, then switch on the office dispenser and fill it.

Use 1: grow the sunflower

Pour the filled cup on the plant below the productivity meter. The flower becomes part of the wrench chain:

1. help the three workers;
2. retrieve and fill the cup;
3. water the plant;
4. take the sunflower to the station founder; and
5. collect the wrench.

Use 2: Short Circuit

Fill the cup again before entering the AI core. After the conversation and before combat starts, move to the lower-left outlet and use the water there. This completes the Short Circuit avoidance route.

Do not confuse it with Water Break

The Water Break achievement is triggered by three drinking interactions across the worlds. Carrying the transparent cup is a different item chain, even though both involve water.
